Google Voice

I just signed us up for Google Voice and here are 10 things that I like about it:

1. Calling our gv number sends the call to all of our phones (my cell, Lauren's cell, our home phone, and my work phone)

2. The last 4 digits of our gv number are the same as my cell number 8591.

3. I can call someone from my computer... it calls my phone (which ever one I pick) and then connects to them.

4. It transcribes voicemail messages (it gets a little confused with some words but that's part of the fun).

5. People can click on the blog and it will call their phone and then call our gv number (try it if you want above).

6. I can choose to listen while someone is leaving me a voicemail and click in to talk to them if I want.

7. I don't have to change my old cell phone number that a lot of people already know.

8. I can send people text messages from my computer.

9. If I get a call from gv I can switch between my phones by pressing "*"

10. All of this stuff is free.

We haven't used it a ton, but so far it seems pretty cool.

Mom's On Vacation

Mom left for Lovell at 6:00 this morning. She almost missed her flight, but Dad made it back to the airport, barely, in time to give her her cell phone (she left it on the bed). He ran up to her, while she was being paged on the airport intercom to get on her plane, gave her a quick hug and a kiss and then she ran like crazy. She's lucky they didn't leave her!

Dad was really nice this morning and did my hair in a top pony tail and even curled the back.

Then he rode me to school on his handle bars with Tagg in the kid seat. I think his back tire was kind of flat because it made a funny noise and it was really squashed to the ground.

School was good. I got three stars

After school, we went to a really great place called the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. We got to see a bunch of different birds, like a crane, ducks, a humming bird, and we even saw some little tadpoles. Taggart and I walked a LOT and had a really fun time.

Here are some pictures of our visit:

This cactus was fun! We didn't get poked.

Taggart and I liked to walk along this creek!

The moon's reflection was really pretty on this lake.

Dad took cool close up pictures of some plants.

I thought this was an egg... it was just a rock.

We were looking at the tadpoles, or minnows, I'm not sure which.

What a pretty sunset!

We're definitely going take Mom here when she gets back from vacation. We all miss her a lot!... especially Dad.
